Assuming you want to know the truth here, to achieve all the natural-looking patinas and textures on this fountain, we had to: pound it with a variety of hammers, run back and forth over it with my Kubota, twist it into weird contortions and shoot it with special pellets. Then heat it quench it and hit it with chemicals and washes of color...just to get the "look". Afterwards it's covered with optical Lexan so that it will look that way more or less forever. This one is six feet by six feet, but we can make them virtually any size. The bigger they are the more GRAND they become.
